The orange eyed monkey-Tayla

The orange eyed monkey Screenshot 2016-12-06 at 9.40.44 AM.png

The orange eyed monkey is a type of monkey that has become very rare.

A oranges eye monkey has the the body of a monkey and eyes like a vampire. The orange eyed monkey  usually has two tails and eyes that glow at night. As a orange eyed monkey moves, it sends out showers of tiny, cracks in the ground.

Like the normal monkey , the orange eyed monkey lives in the ground. They are very scary  and therefore are always  seen. During the day, they sleep under bushes. At night, orange eyed monkey hunts for pray.

orange eyed monkeys feed on small insects and leaves. However, they can also be tempted with little rabbits. Additionally, some like to eat nuts.

Because orange eyed monkeys have magic in their eyes, this has meant that they have been hunted and all of them have nearly died. There are now 50 orange eyed monkeys left.

Introducing Sticky Butter-Tayla

Introducing the Sticky Butter. Have you ever wanted to get those corners of your bread but you always miss well I have a solution you should buy the sticky Butter. The great thing about this invention is it is just like a glue stick it is easy to use and it is very fast to do.

This product is a healthier version of butter because it is made different. It also is very low in price this will only cost you $2 each that is the most lowest cost in the universe scientifically proven.

You might just be thinking now that this is the coolest thing ever but we had a problem with process of making it. We have found out that this cannot be eaten by it self because of a choking hazard.

Suddenly I found A solution so me and my crew put into the butter we put a chemical that makes it taste a bit sweet his way if baby get to it choke

Overall I think this is a great product to buy because it is low priced it can get every corner on your bread and also if you buy one now you get another two free

WHOOSH-Written By Tayla

Bob was out in the sun shiny day having so much fun getting heaps of fish with gooey seaweed on it.

After about 3 hours he started hearing loud thunder noises then rain started pouring down. The waves were very bad there was water on the boat.

He had to close the window and lock in the steering wheel. He forgot to wear a lifejacket! He had to hold on to the rope on the side of the boat. Then he had to check that everything on  Boat was okay.

Then suddenly out of nowhere there was this green thing. It was bold it had big eyes and the weirdest thing about it was he was floating on water with an umbrella and everything just stopped the water stopped waving every were and he flew on his umbrella and stomped on bobs face. Then everything started happening the water was crazy the boat was filled with water.

After that the green thing washed away the boat broke and Bob drowned and it weirdest story ever told.

My place in the world-Spoken Word Tayla

What
is
my
place?

I am part Samoan.
A part Samoan year six girl.
A pacific Island pearl
But this is not my place in the world.
Unless you count liking the food.
It’s all tasty once chewed.
pankeke, taro and a good pork bun
Mmmm  that’s yum...

What
Is
My
place?

The closest I’ve been to Samoa is the Pacific Food Market in Mangere
My experiences aren’t many to vary
I guess the delicious smells that climb into my senses might be what Samoa smells like.
I’ve never seen many Samoans on a hunger strike.
I wouldn’t know.

What
Is
My
place?

Maybe I’ve felt disconnected with the world?
Because my ethnicities are swirled.
Disconnected with a world that is not part of who I am.
Wondering who even gives a damn.
The only thing connecting me - my supportive  Mum
Wondering what I will become
And my Samoan Step Dad.
The best role model I’ve ever had.

What
Is
My
place?

Maybe my place is Park Estate School?
I've heard it's cool even without a swimming pool.
My place here is that of whanau leader.
A motivator - a good reader
My school is not conventional
If I offend other schools - it’s not intentional
But Park Estate just can’t be beat
I use technology to make my learning concrete.

What
Is
My
place?

My place is to challenge people around me
To think outside the square
Because lets face it life’s not fair
I’m a  year six girl who likes a challenge.
Especially if the challenge is in my safe place.
For me Park Estate School is that base.

What
Is
My
Place?

In my family my place is that of big sister
Although my situation is a bit of a tongue twister
See my brother and sister live with my dad
Far away in Levin is where he has his pad.
Sometimes it can be sad without my brother and sister around.
Makes me feel like I’m stuck on the ground

What
Is
My
Place?

Who knows what the future will hold.
It’s not like it’s been foretold.
But this you can be assured.
I will not be what I’ve been told.
I will step out and break the mould.
Another statistic I will not be.

My place will be defined
BY ME

Camp experience

My Slipping Sliding Experience

It was a calm and cloudy day at Camp Adair, the confidence course was calling to me. “Tayla… TAYLA… !” I heard over and over in my head. I was in need of a specific set of skills, skills that would give me the confidence to conquer this humongous monstrosity, it was time...

I felt extremely anxious, I did not want to do this but it was either man up or shut up! I crept up into this big mud pool and slipped into it it felt disgusting and slimy. I had enough of this, I was ready to give up but thinking of my mum was motivating me to stay strong so I kept on going.

It was time for the toughest part of the course. I had to dive under a rope net and underneath was a disgusting mud pool! I crawled into the slimy goo and when I got to the end I slipped on the onto my butt cheeks.

Finally, it was over. We went back to our village and had lunch. Our next adventure was kayaking, I was excited to give it a go, thankfully there was no yucky mud this time!

Pes News By Tayla

New Zealand would be a great place to host The Olympic games because our All Blacks rugby team is the best in the world. There would be shot putt, discus, long jump, high jump, archery, badminton, cycling track and many more.

This event will be held in Canterbury Athletics arena. This would be a great place for it to be held because it is big. I would be a host along with a few other people.

The Athletes will train at their local gym to get fit and healthy. They would also need to practise their sport. This includes Shot put, discus, long jump and high jump.

The Athletes would become Whanau and live in a Marae. They would still have to obey the rules like take your shoes off,  wash your hands before you eat and say a pray.

The opening ceremony would be held at the Olympic park in Auckland. This would be a great place for it  to be held because none has used it before.

Here is a photo of a epic win for Valerie Adams!
